Breitbart Editor Dismisses Idea Bannon Calls Shots: ‘I Don’t Think Trump Takes Orders’

‘I think Donald Trump is very much in charge’

‘I Don’t Think Donald Trump Takes Orders’: Breitbart Editor Waves Off Suggestion Bannon Calls WH Shots (Mediaite)

It happened! After accusing The View of uninviting him from being on the show last week (which a spokesperson told Mediaite was just due to a scheduling conflict), Breitbart’s Editor-at-Large Joel Pollak appeared on a segment today.

Right away, he reiterated a point that he’s made in the past, which is that it’s wrong to classify the site as white supremacist. Then, when prompted by Joy Behar, he said that not only is the site not anti-Semitic, but he’s glad that the rise in anti-Semitism has gotten considerably more media coverage lately.

The conversation eventually moved to Breitbart’s former Executive Chairman, Steve Bannon, who is now White House Chief Strategist and is largely believed to be secretly running the show behind the scenes. Jedediah Bila, who has contributed to Breitbart in the past and shared her perspectives on Bannon with her View panelists before, jumped in.
