Varney: Firing Immigrants Skipping Work to Protest ‘Entirely Legitimate’

‘If you are going to hurt the business that you work for by going out to a political demonstration ... manager has every right to fire you’

EXCERPT:

DOOCY: "But what's the business to do? There’s a company, Bradley Coatings, where the night before the rally, the protests, a whole bunch of people say, 'By the way, we are not showing up tomorrow.' Apparently they had a bunch of orders to fill and when they came back to work the next day, they got the pink slip."
VARNEY: "I think that's entirely legitimate. If you’re trying to hurt the business that you work for by going out on a political demonstration, you hurt your own business, you hurt your own company. I think management has every right to fire you. Case closed."
