CLEMONS: "Yeah. I mean, I -- I -- I guess the honesty answer is we have to listen to both -- both of them. You know, Donald Trump sounds like a walking war crime and -- and Jim Mattis, the defense secretary is out to basically try and qualify everything and, you know, put it on a track that's consistent with legality and international law. You know, I -- I would hate Mattis’s job because it's -- and Mike Pence’s job or anyone that's got to be out there and explain the meanderings of Donald Trump, because they are reckless, they are uninformed and they are hurtful to allies. So I -- I think that right now we have to listen to the president of the United States, the president is the ultimate decider, he’s the one with the nuclear football near him. He's the one who sets policy. Jim Mattis and others are filters."
