Barber: Few Dems Calling for Shinseki’s Resignation (Free Beacon)

The Washington Free Beacon’s Ellison Barber appeared on Fox News’ Real Story to discuss the low number of Democrats calling for Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki’s resignation.

“You’re especially seeing on the Senate side among Senate Democrats that most of those Democrats are either not calling on Shinseki to resign or when they’re asked about it, they’re avoiding the question…You really have seen everyone on the Democrat side of the Senate be completely silent,” Barber told Gretchen Carlson.

She also made note of any type of action being taken to curb abuses like the VA Veterans scandal from happening again. “They had two bills in front of them and they’ve done nothing on the Senate side,” she said of Senate Democrats who refuse to pass bills that would prevent further scandals.
