Angelina Jolie on Running for Office: ‘If I Thought I’d Be Effective, I Would’

Angelina Jolie Talks Possibly Running for Office, Wedding and More on GMA (Gossip Cop)

Asked on “Good Morning America” on Wednesday whether she’d ever considering running for office, the human rights advocate replied, “You know, if I thought I’d be effective, I would.”

“But I’m not sure if I would ever be taken seriously in that way, and be able to be effective,” the Oscar winner added.

Jolie previously dismissed the idea in years past, saying she had to many too “skeletons” in her closet — but that seems to have changed.

“I wonder if by now if my skeletons are out,” Jolie laughed. “They’re probably all out.”
