Dem Tulsi Gabbard: Obama Should Have Addressed VA Scandal Much Sooner

‘I think he should have been out long before’

Another Dem Calls Obama Out on His Lackluster Response to VA Scandal (Washington Free Beacon)

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D., Hawaii) joined a chorus of Democrats in condemning President Obama for his slow and lackluster response to the VA scandalThursday on MSNBC.

Host Chuck Todd asked Gabbard if she thought the president was slow to address the scandal given it has been reported in the media for several weeks.

“I agree with that. I think he should have been out long before,” Gabbard said. “Especially with this Phoenix issue. When you look at the allegations that have occurred there, when you look at the people who have died, the people who are waiting, the disservice that has occurred here for our men and women who voluntarily put their lives on the line and they come home and receive this treatment, there’s no excuse and it’s absolutely unacceptable.”
