A CNN panel this afternoon strongly criticized President Trump over his tweet slamming Nordstrom for dropping his daughter Ivanka‘s brand.

Brian Stelter highlighted how Sean Spicer said Nordstrom’s decision was a “direct attack” on the president’s policies, which he felt highlighted the administration’s “allergy to criticism.”

Ryan Lizza said, “This is exactly what every ethics expert warned of… The message coming from the White House is ‘Make sure you don’t mess with our brands, make sure you don’t mess with our hotels, make sure you don’t take any public efforts that put our brand name in any bad light, or else.'”
