Confessore: ‘Bad Idea’ for Trump to Roll Back Dodd-Frank

‘I think this the price Donald Trump is paying for the cooperation of his allies on the Hill’

EXCERPT:

CONFESSORE: "You know, finally an American thinks that banks aren't making enough money."
BRZEZINSKI: "Please."
CONFESSORE: "That Banks are under assault. That -- you know, kind of, Banks aren't taking enough risk with deposits. A big part of Dodd-Frank, and it's a sprawling piece of legislation and regulation, there's a lot of pieces to it. But a big part of it was to stop the kind of risk taking that led to the crash. If they want to roll that back, I think it's a bad idea. But -- but, I think this is the price that Donald Trump is paying for the cooperation of allies on the Hill. This and Judge Gorsuch are -- are two pieces of what they get out of the bargain with Donald Trump. He is not their king of  Republican, who's a typical Wall Street. And the courts are very important."
