White House spokesman Jay Carney says he's sure Americans will be hearing from President Obama "at some point" on the scandal engulfing the Veterans Administration.

But right now, the president is waiting for the VA inspector-general to complete an investigation into long wait times for medical appointments, secret waiting lists, and veterans who reportedly died in Phoenix and elsewhere before they were able to see a doctor.
