INGRAHAM: "The other issue, however, is whether this could have been rolled out and maybe telegraphed in a better way, and I think it could have been. It doesn’t mean you have to announce to the world what they were doing. But I think it was important for the Trump team to understand they are going to be at war with the media, likely, and the Democrats and some of the Republican Party every day that they are doing what they said they were going to do on the campaign trail. Every day it’s going to be war. So if you know you’re going to be at war, how do you roll out something that you know is going to be deemed to be a Muslim ban, even though it’s not, deemed to be unconstitutional, even though it’s not, deemed to be hateful even though in their view it’s very practical? So you have to produce the preface and the preproduction of this. It has to be done, I think, really carefully and really smartly. I think they could have done better on that."
