'I would love to talk to Bill Maher about his atheism because I think he does a disservice to intellectuals'

Actor Sean Astin Has A Bold Challenge For ‘Cripplingly Intellectually Abusive’ Bill Maher (Independent Journal Review)

Actor Sean Astin stopped by The Blaze and gave an interview with Billy Hallowell about his upcoming movie, “Mom’s Night Out,” and his Christian faith.

Astin, who starred in the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy among other films, brought up liberal commentator Bill Maher. After calling him “cripplingly intellectually abusive,” Astin said he would like to talk to Bill Maher because he believes he does a “disservice to intellectuals with your excessive need to promote atheism.”

Though Astin strongly disagrees with Maher, he defended Maher’s right of free speech:
