Washington State AG Announces He Will File a Federal Lawsuit in Response to Trump’s Travel Ban

FERGUSON: "In other words, if successful, this would have the effect of invalidating the President's unlawful action nationwide. When we file our complaint today, we will also be filing and asking the court — we'll be filing and seeking a temporary restraining order to immediately halt implementation of this executive action that is going to be filed today as well. So we want to be clear, we are filing a complaint and also seeking a motion seeking a temporary restraining order to immediately halt what we believe to be an unlawful action."
