Lynn Sweet: ‘Journalists Have Not Declared War on President Trump’

‘There is just more work to do in more real-time, and that is what you are seeing right now on the part of journalists’

EXCERPT:

SWEET: “We -- journalists have not declared war on President Trump or his staffers or his administration. What has happened is that there is a wave after wave of assertions that are either not true or, as 'The Washington Post' said in -- in the story, that you referred to, there is just a mass of statements that are either unsubstantiated, not true, false, you know, whatever word you want to ascribe to it. So there is just more work to do in more real-time, and that's what you are seeing right now on the part of journalists. No declaration of war.”
