Spicer on Jan. 4: ‘I Don’t Think Any Communicator Worth Their Salt Can Go out and Tell a Lie’

‘To go out and tell a lie is something that’s not acceptable’

EXCERPT:

SPICER: "I don’t think any communicator worth their salt can go out and tell a lie. You can’t do it. I think it’s one thing for a surrogate to say something, and I’m not by any means advocating that, you can spin the way you want but I think to go out and tell a lie is just something that’s not acceptable. But beyond that, the personal piece of this, I think the American people deserve public servants that are up there. And again, while you may not agree with the agenda — I don’t agree with a lot of policies of Barack Obama but he’s the commander-in-chief, he is our president and he deserves the respect of the office."
