SCARBOROUGH: "Wow. Alternative facts. Can I just ask a question? I’m just curious. Who would actually have somebody on their show and interview them — I’m talking about from this point forward. If they are going to come on and talk about, quote, 'alternative facts,' and knowingly and willingly lie, why would you have Kellyanne Conway on your show?"
BRZEZINSKI: "That's where my interview with her would have ended. There's no reason to talk to her."
SCARBOROUGH: "When somebody lies to you to your face and then talks about alternative facts, you say 'Thank you for being on. Good-bye.' I'm not talking about Chuck."
BRZEZINSKI: "He tried."
SCARBOROUGH: "Chuck did a great job and Chuck pushed. I'm just saying, now that we know she is like dealing in alternative — I don't need that. If I needed alternative facts, like, I would go to a ouija board, right?"
