Protesters who support Obamacare staged a “cough-in” at Donald Trump’s International Hotel and Tower restaurants on Sunday to rally against the repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

The protest was initiated by Mark Milano, 60, and organized by the “Rise and Resist” activist group. Twenty activists from the group made reservations for lunch at Jean-Georges and Nougatine restaurants at Trump Hotel and Tower, and then coordinated everyone to start coughing at 12:20 p.m., according to a Facebook post written by one of the organization’s administrators.

“At 12:20 we coughed our addled brains out, then pulled out our signs declaring, ‘We need Obamacare. Trumpcare makes us sick,’ and shouted those slogans over and over at top volume as we were escorted out [by police]. As you can see, the upscale diners took notice,” Terry Roethlein wrote.
