Haley: ‘We Should Stand up to Any Country that’ Interferes with ‘Our System’

UDALL: "I hope that I am mistaken and I hope that you will be an advocate for the U.S. participation in the United Nations, and I believe you have stated that here today. It is very clear that Russia attempted to influence our election. If you are confirmed to serve as ambassador to the U.N., will you stand up to Vladimir Putin and against Russia's attempt to interfere with our electoral system?"
HALEY: "We should stand up to any country that attempts to interfere with our system."
UDALL: "And what will your message to your Russian counterpart on the Security Council be with regards to their attempts to influence the U.S. elections?"
HALEY: "That we are aware that it has happened, that we don't find it acceptable, and that we will fight back every time we see something like that happening. I don't think that Russia is going to be the only one."
