Sanger: Trump’s Idea of a ‘Broad Reset’ with Russia Is ‘Going To Be Pretty Hard to Pull Off’

‘We have a Russia problem’

EXCERPT:

SANGER: "The Russia problem is that Russia has fundamentally moved from the concept we had after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union which was that they would become part of Europe to one in which Putin has decided that his role in life is to be the anti-America. And I think it’s going to be only a matter of time before the Trump administration discovers that."
BRZEZINSKI: "But --"
SANGER: "And certainly there are going to be areas where we can work together, Iran was one of them, but I think the idea of having a broad reset right now is going to be pretty hard to pull off."
