MSNBC: During the Next 18 Days, Obama ‘Will Do Everything He Can’ to Try and Seal His Legacy

ALLEN: "We know President Obama is a very proud individual. We know that he thinks he's accomplished a lot and changed a lot in this country and we know that a lot of what he’s done is under direct threat from President-Elect Trump and the republican-controlled Congress. We think he’ll lay out how he thinks he’s brought the economy back from the brink of depression and recession. He’ll talk about bringing the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. He will talk about capturing and killing Osama bin Laden. He will talk about the Affordable Care and ObamaCare and how 20 million people have been given health care insurance for the first time if their lives. But the bottom line is all of this is so much under threat. During the next 18 days, the president will do everything he can here trying to continue to seal his legacy with as he was before he went off to Hawaii, when he issued those sanctions against Russia, when secretary Kerry made that strong statement against Israeli settlements, then the Mideast peace process."
