CONWAY: "You mean SoftBank, the $50 billion?"
MADDOW: "No, nice try. No, I mean the government-owned bank from which her apparel deal -- she was seeking financing. She sits on that meeting with Abe."
CONWAY: "But she didn't discuss that with him."
MADDOW: "But she's there in the meeting. I mean, you're talking about -- if you guys were going to make an issue of pay to play, you have --"
CONWAY: "Where is it here? Show me where it is here. Because it was clearly on the Americans' mind about Hillary and the State Department. That's just obvious. That hurt her."
