FINNEY: "Well look, I think it's -- I do in that -- it makes sense that people who were Clinton campaign supporters, electors would reach out to people, you know, in our campaign. But look, I think as the story points out, there was an effort to, you know, be — walk a fine line frankly of -- of being supportive because obviously, it’s important that the electors do what they believe is right in terms of their responsibility as electors, which is part of why I think some of them thought it was important to get a national security briefing given the information that came out about the Russians. But at the same time, you know, I think there was part of the -- you know, idea here was this is not necess -- we’re not necessarily talking about changing the outcome of the election through the Electoral College."
