Rep. Schiff: Obama Should Have Reacted Forcefully Prior to Russia Hacking

‘It was a mistake earlier frankly not to react more forcefully when North Korea hacked us’

RUSH TRANSCRIPT:
TODD: "You think the decision to not come out as definitively before the election was a mistake by President Obama?"
SCHIFF: "I do. I think it was a mistake earlier frankly not to react more forcefully when North Korea hacked us. I think those kind of -- that lack of deterrence invited the Russians to meddle and consider they could do this with impunity. I hope we will have a bipartisan joint investigation of the intelligence communities or a commission like my colleagues are proposing, this ought to be a non-partisan issue. This is not about re-litigating the election. It's about getting good information to the American people about what happened and preventing it and deterring the Russians in the future."
