Pillsbury: ‘Trump Knows How to Negotiate with China by Putting America First’

PILLSBURY: "The media that loved Hillary Clinton is having a field day to try to continue the narrative that Mr. Trump is sort of unfit and intemperate and doesn't understand how to negotiate. I think all that's wrong. If you look at any of his books, but especially the one called 'Crippled America' he has sections on how to negotiate specifically with China. In that book there's a 5-page section saying that the Chinese are the world's best negotiators. He knows this. Mr. Trump says it from his own experience. And there are several things to do to reverse that situation. One of them is he says to be unpredictable, not reveal your negotiating tactics in advance, and try to put America first. So that's how I think he's coming at this Taiwan issue."
