‘The View’ on Time’s Person of the Year: Hitler, Stalin, Trump and Some Good People Like Bill Clinton

‘It doesn’t necessarily mean good’

HAINES: "It's not always something — it doesn't necessarily mean good."
GOLDBERG: "It's just about the person who's had the most influence. Joy, you have the list, right?"
BEHAR: "1938 - Adolf Hitler. In 1939 - Joseph Stalin. In 1979 - Ayatollah Khomeini. And Newt Gingrich is also on that list. I just thought I'd throw it in there."
HAINES: "He also shares it with his friend Vladimir Putin."
BILA: "And some good people: Bill Clinton, Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Pope Francis. I think it was a good pick, though, because this is a man who did change the face of politics. No one thought he had a chance to get elected. He somehow managed to make this happen."
