Reporter Challenges State Dept. Spox to Name Accomplishment from Hillary’s Tenure (Mediaite)

When Hillary Clinton became the Secretary of State in 2009, she announced that the department would begin to perform regular performance reviews in the Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review (QDDR). Modeled after a similar Pentagon review process with which Clinton became familiar as a U.S. Senator, the first QDDR was completed in December, 2010.

On Tuesday, the Associated Press’ State Department reporter, Matt Lee, pressed Foggy Bottom Spokesperson Jennifer Psaki to define what “tangible achievement” that first QDDR was responsible for. Psaki appeared unable to provide him with one.
