Buckley: The One Thing the Two Parties Have in Common Is They Don’t Like the American People Much

‘We like all Americans, and we want all Americans to do well without exception’

BUCKLEY: "Well, the one thing the two parties had in common is they didn’t seem to like the American people much. I mean, you know, Mitt Romney’s 47 percent of takers, and as for the Dems, if you put all your eggs in a diversity basket, you’re ignoring all the people who aren’t in that particular basket, and it doesn’t help if you talk about people clinging to their guns and religion or being a bunch of bigots or what not. I think, you know, the Democrats would do much better to try to have a party that conveyed the message that, you know, we like all Americans, and we want all Americans to do well without exception."
