President Obama honors sacrifice on Thursday.

The president and Vice President Biden welcome participants in the seventh annual Wounded Warrior Project's Soldier Ride to the White House.

The bike rally helps "Wounded Warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being," said the White House schedule. It also increases national awareness of those "who battle the physical and psychological damages of war."

Health care is also on the White House schedule as Obama and Biden meet with representatives of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
