Voters in conservative Maricopa County are being told they're not on the voter rolls -- even though they are on the voting rolls.

A Trump voter identified only as Sheila on MSNBC said she was turned away from her voting precinct after officials told her she did not appear in the system. "I went to the right place and I was told that was in error; and then I was given an address and I went to that place and was told that was in error," she told reporter Gadi Schwartz.

"I was told by the voting people, 'You're not registered, you're not in our system, I guess you can vote, it may or may not count,'" she recounted. She then called the local Republican Party headquarters, which confirmed she had originally visited the correct voting precinct.

Those affected are being told to vote with provisional ballots.

"When voter Aaron Bartlett arrived at T.G. Barr Middle School this morning, poll workers said they couldn’t find him in the system," Arizona's PBS reported. "He called the Maricopa county recorder’s office and a female staffer confirmed he was at the right polling place, echoing Bartlett’s confusion about why he had to vote provisional."

“I just hope that my vote counts because (there) is so much at stake,” Bartlett said.

In 2012, Maricopa County went 54.3 percent for Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan over 43 percent for Barack Obama/Joe Biden. The voting roll errors are reportedly affecting voters of both parties.
