‘I think that’s actually going to spur African-Americans in North Carolina to turn out’

TAPPER: "There are signs that Latino early voting is up significantly, but that African-American early voting, especially in several key states like North Carolina, is down. Are you concerned about what this might mean for Hillary Clinton on Tuesday?" 
FRANKEN: "Uh, well, on the African-American vote in North Carolina, I think we’ve seen the last week there’s been an effort to suppress that vote and I think African-American North Carolinians have gotten that message. And it’s usually increased turnout. I think that their effort to suppress people, to — the president told about this 100-year-old woman who was purged and wrote him a letter. That went to a judge who called this insane, what was going on. I think that’s actually going to spur African-Americans in North Carolina to turn out."
