Tom Friedman: Comey ‘Way Too Concerned About What Is Being Said About Him’

‘What makes America so unique is we have these institutions that are truly nonpartisan, like the FBI’

FRIEDMAN: "The FBI director's got to be really tough-minded. We did this, we're not talking about this, we never do. This was my decision, too bad. If you want comment, ask the Justice Secretary, but not me. And I feel like from the very beginning this is a man who has been way too concerned about what is being said about him and not tough-minded enough to take the decisions, whatever they are, whichever way they go, and don't comment on them, which has been the tradition of the FBI."
