Priest on Al Smith Dinner: ‘Disappointed’ Hillary, Trump Were ‘Slamming Each Other’

MURRAY: “I was disappointed that the candidates engaged in another debate slamming each other. This is a Catholics charity dinner that’s supposed to highlight self-deprecating humor, fun, but in honor of Al Smith, the first Catholic candidate for president. It was not supposed to be a continuation of the debate. And I think unfortunately both of them did that.”
