Pence: We Will Defund Planned Parenthood and Reverse Roe vs. Wade

"I long to see the day that Roe vs. Wade is consigned to the ash heap of history where it belongs and we again  embrace a culture of life in America. (applause) And I promise you, different from the agenda of our opposition of abortion on demand, including partial birth abortion and public funding of abortion, Donald Trump and I will work to advance the sanctity of life in the rule of law. We will sign a bill banning late-term abortions and we will uphold the historic Hyde Amendment that will prevent the use of taxpayer dollars to fund that which millions of Americans find to be morally objectionable. (applause) And Donald Trump and I believe that the largest abortion provider in America should not be the largest recipient of federal funding under Title 10. A Trump-Pence administration will defund Planned Parenthood and redirect those dollars to women's health care that doesn't provide abortion services."
