EARNEST: “Well, I would point out there have been other movements at the U.N. to work through the Security Council to ensure that the Assad regime and Russia are held accountable for their actions. I should say — I would just say the Assad regime, but basically say that there have been actions through the UN taken to hold the Assad regime accountable for potential war crimes. Russia has vetoed that effort and used their vetoing the Security Council to prevent the referral information, for example, to the International Criminal Court. You know, the United States is deeply concerned about the situation in Syria."
