House Speaker John Boehner (R., Ohio) accused Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) of “sacrificing his own members” by not allowing vulnerable red state Democrats to vote on bills which would change Obamacare.

“Well, no surprise that the majority leader is sacrificing his own members. We’ve sent bills over what would protect the American people from the bad effects of “Obamacare.” The majority leader refuses to allow them to come to the floor,” Boehner said.

“And frankly, it’s because they’d probably pass. He’s got a number of members who’d love to vote for those. And so it’s pretty clear to me that he’s protecting the president so these don’t get to his desk,” Boehner added.
