Planned Parenthood’s political action group targeted Donald Trump with this 30-second ad showing clips from a March interview with MSNBC's Chris Matthews where he said that if abortion were made illegal, "there would have to be some form of punishment."
“For the woman?” Matthews asked.
“Yeah, there has to be some form,” Trump responded.
Trump released a statement backtracking that statement almost immediately.
