Crowley: Clinton Will Be ‘Unpleasantly Surprised’ if She Expects the Same Trump

‘I expect different kind of performance from Donald Trump’

CROWLEY: "I expect a different kind of performance from Donald Trump on Sunday night. He realized after the first debate that about the first 45 minutes or so were very strong for him when he focused on the economy bringing jobs back to working Americans. That is when he was at its strongest. After that he allowed Mrs. Clinton to get under his skin and rattled him a little bit. He lost his balance when she started talking about tax returns and then got into the women’s issues. He allowed her to get to him. Next time around I don’t think that is going to be true. My column today in the 'Washington Times' actually says he’s got a secret weapon."
VARNEY: "What's that?"
CROWLEY: "The secret weapon is that going into the first debate, everybody was telling him 'You have to achieve plausibility. You have to look calm, rational, a plausible president. Having done that, now he’s got all kinds of voters, millions of voters demanding that he be more aggressive and really attack Mrs.Clinton. So if she’s expecting the same Donald Trump who showed up in the first debate when she comes to the second one she's going to be unpleasantly surprised."
