Fox News: Preparations Underway to Retake Mosul from ISIS

SCOTT: “Progress in the fight to defeat ISIS with preparations underway to retake Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city and the last major stronghold of the Islamic state in that country. Mosul is about 250 miles to the north of Baghdad. Our Conor Powell is following the story live from our Middle East bureau in Jerusalem.”
POWELL: “Coalition commanders have said that Mosul will fall. That doesn’t necessarily mean that ISIS will be completely defeated but it will deprive them of one of their two major strongholds, Raqqa being the other. The so-called shaping operations by coalition forces began earlier this summer with coalition and U.S. led airstrikes on ISIS targets in and around Mosul."
