Donald Trump is throwing down the gauntlet: Release the emails you deleted, and I'll release my tax returns.

Appearing on Fox News's "O'Reilly Factor," the Republican presidential nominee said he would release his returns "immediately" if Clinton coughs up her 33,000 deleted emails.

Here's an excerpt:

O'REILLY: "Now, Gov. Pence says he's going to release his tax returns. Today Hillary Clinton is whacking you and, you know, she does it almost every day, that you should release your tax returns. If Gov. Pence does release his, does that put pressure on you to release yours?"
TRUMP: "Not at all. Nobody cares about it except some of the folks in the media. Nobody cares about it. But just so you understand, I'm under audit, a routine audit. And when the audit is complete I’ll release my returns, I don't know when that is going to be. But when the audit is complete, I'll release my returns, I have no problem with it. It doesn't matter. But how does she talk about my tax returns --"
O'REILLY: "--But the legal people say you could do it now despite the audit."
TRUMP: "Well, nobody would recommend that. In the meantime, she has 33,000 emails that she deleted. When is she going to release her emails? She probably know how to find it. Let her release her emails and I will release my tax returns immediately. Now, with this being said, I've released almost 100 pages of financials to the FEC, and they're detailed. There's a lot of information. The fact is you get very little information from a tax return, Bill.”
