MCKINNON: “What's interesting, I was thinking because a lot of people saying historically whoever is ahead on Labor Day is going to win. In 2006 in the Bush campaign, we were behind. We were behind by two points on the Labor Day. We were able to push ahead with the debate. That’s how important the debates are and it shows that Donald Trump has an opportunity here. He’s within striking distance and the debates are going to be huge.”
