LZ Granderson: Trump ‘Trying to Make White People Feel Better About Voting for Him’ by Going to a Black Church

‘Because white voters don’t want to vote for a racist’

GRANDERSON: "Well, I don’t think he will. I don’t think he’s trying. I think he’s trying to make white people feel better about voting for him, because white voters don’t want to vote for a racist. So, if he doesn’t look as if he’s a racist, then you feel better about voting for him. Nothing that he’s done or said within the last three week, in my opinion, seems attractive to minorities voters largely speaking."
