McMullin: ‘There’s a Lot of Misunderstanding’ About Refugee Process in the U.S.

‘There is a lot of misunderstanding about what the process is actually’

MCMULLIN: "It takes a long time if you are refugee to get to the United States. You are checked by the intelligence agencies here in the U.S., the State Department, law enforcement agencies, you've interviewed multiple times by the U.N. too and I mean, it's just so much. So, there's a big process in play. Of course, you can always make it stronger and I'm an advocate for that as well but there's a lot -- I think a lot of misunderstanding about what the process is actually."
