Obamacare Architect: ‘You Don’t Need a Doctor for Every Part of Your Health Care’ (Washington Free Beacon)
Obamacare architect Zeke Emanuel told The O’Reilly Factor that you don’t necessarily need a doctor for every facet of your health care Tuesday night.
Host Bill O’Reilly brought up his concern that Obamacare was leading to a rise of walk-in clinics run by nurse practitioners and physicians’ assistants, which Emanuel countered was simply a part of a complex health care system. Those lower-level medical people would do just fine for lower-level diagnoses, Emanuel argued.
“You don’t need a doctor for every part of your health care,” Emanuel said.
“But if I want strep throat diagnosis, I don’t want Lenny who just came out of the community college,” O’Reilly said.
