CBS to Podesta: Shouldn’t We Assume Clinton Server Was Hacked?

Rose: ‘People hack without being discovered’

CBS to Podesta: Shouldn’t We Assume Clinton Server Was Hacked? (The Washington Free Beacon)

Hillary Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta was questioned by CBS anchor Charlie Rose Tuesday as to why the Russians wouldn’t have been able to hack Hillary Clinton’s private email server, even though they have hacked the White House and Department of State.

CBS host Norah O’Donnell noted to him that the Clinton campaign has charged the Russians with actively aiding Donald Trump by hacking the DNC. After he mentioned how both the White House and Department of State have been hacked and precautions had to be taken, Rose asked if it could be assumed that Clinton’s private email server was similarly accessed.

“In light of that, should you not assume that Hillary Clinton’s server was hacked?” Rose asked.

“No,” Podesta said.
