CUMMINGS: "I'm not surprised by what he said. But keep in mind, majority leader -- leader McCarthy called this a long time ago. He told us what the game plan was and he was part of the folks who -- one of the folks who established this committee. And he said basically this was a bring down the poll numbers of Hillary Clinton. This has been one of the saddest exercises I've ever engaged in in my 20 years in Congress. It's been very partisan, we've been locked out of so many things -- while witnesses interviewed and were not told about it, exculpatory evidence found out by the Republicans they don't tell us about."
