CBS: U.S. Boosts Airport Security for Holiday Weekend After Istanbul Attack

In the wake of the Istanbul attacks, U.S. airports are boosting security ahead of the busy July 4th weekend

VAN CLEAVE: "Some of the busiest air travel hubs in the U.S. have bolstered security after the apparent Istanbul terror attack. In the New York City area there is a visible increase and officers with tactical weapons at all three major airports. In Miami police will control curbside areas for suspicious vehicles. And at LAX in Los Angeles, security was already stiffened ahead of the fourth of July weekend with an increase in canine units and officers on foot."
