Author Doris Kearns Goodwin said Sunday that Winston Churchill "must be dying in his grave right now" following Britons voting to leave the European Union. She appeared on "Meet the Press." Here's an excerpt:

GOODWIN: "I think Cameron made a Faustian bargain when he decided he needed the far right vote to win the election. He won it big anyway and promised to bring up this referendum. Now he’s lost his prime ministership, his legacy. Britain may fall apart and not become the Great Britain. Churchill must be dying in his grave right now. He did it to himself. The leaders of both parties were not able to reach the people, which shows that something is wrong with the leadership."
