Rick Scott: I’ve Asked President Obama to Declare a State of Emergency for Florida

"Just a few a minutes ago, I asked President Obama to declare a state of emergency for the state of Florida. I did that yesterday for Orlando, Orange county, and the mayor did it yesterday for the city ... This is a wonderful community we live in. This is a wonderful state. We are the best melting pot in the world. We have 20 million people who live here. We’ll have over 100 million people who come to visit here, because it’s a wonderful place to both live and visit. We’re going to continued to work hard to take care of these families and make sure we try to get this community and the state back and work as quickly as we can."
