ABDUL-JABBAR: "Well, I just -- a lot of sadness. You know, I'm sorry to see him go. The last couple of years that he was alive it was kind of tough on him not being able to communicate the way that -- in his style. So you know, that -- that was -- that weighed hard on him and weighed hard on all of us because we knew how he was struggling with that. But throughout all of -- any of the problems that he had, his spirit was indomitable and he always kept us smiling."
