In the midst of an interview on comedy show, "The Tonight Show," President Obama stressed how "serious" his job is. Ostensibly contrasting himself with Donald Trump, Obama said the presidency "is not reality TV."

The interview is set to air Thursday night.

Here's a rush transcript:

OBAMA: “It was a healthy thing for the Democratic Party to have a contested primary. I thought Bernie Sanders brought enormous energy and new ideas. He pushed the party and challenged them. I thought it made Hillary a better candidate. My hope is over the next couple of weeks we’re able to pull things together. What happens during primary, you get a little ouchy.”
FALLON: “Is Bernie going to endorse Hillary.”
OBAMA: “I’m sure they are going to have a conversation.”
FALLON: “Is he ever going to drop out? He’s going to be staying in.”
OBAMA: “I’m going to be talking to him tomorrow. He’s coming to the White House. The main role I’m going to be playing in this process is to remind the American people that this is a serious job. This is not reality TV.”
