Jon Stewart trashing Donald Trump yesterday was welcome catharsis to people who have missed his particular brand of satire/outrage, and so a CNN panel discussed today whether it’s a relief to the Trump camp that Stewart is no longer on The Daily Show.

Brooke Baldwin asked Trump supporter Kayleigh McEnany, “Are you, like, thanking your lucky stars, in a sense, that Jon Stewart is no longer hosting The Daily Show for your candidate’s sake?”

McEnany said yes, she is “thankful he’s not around to belittle Trump these days.”
